The limited-stop service will run via Leyton and Walthamstow as part of the next expansion of London’s Superloop network.
Transport for London has confirmed plans to introduce the new SL14 Superloop route between Stratford and Chingford Hatch in 2027.
The limited-stop service will run from Stratford Bus Station to Hatch Lane in Chingford Hatch, travelling via Leyton and Walthamstow.
The route will provide connections with rail services at Leyton, St James Street and Blackhorse Road, as well as connecting with the existing SL1 Superloop service at Crooked Billet.
Services are expected to run from around 5am until 12.30am seven days a week, with buses operating every 12 minutes during the daytime from Monday to Saturday and every 15 minutes during evenings and on Sundays.

TfL confirmed the route following a public consultation which received 856 responses.
Following feedback and a further review, the SL14 will also serve stops on the south-western side of Crooked Billet Roundabout, improving interchange with the existing SL1 and route 34.
Southbound services will also stop at Blackhorse Road stop BB instead of the previously proposed stop on Forest Road.

The introduction of the SL14 will also bring changes to route D8 in Stratford.
The D8 will be diverted after Warton Road to terminate at Stratford City Bus Station instead of Stratford Bus Station, creating space for the new Superloop service. The section of the route between Crossharbour and Warton Road will remain unchanged.
TfL said the SL14 will operate alongside existing routes including the 158 and 357, adding capacity on busy corridors around Leyton and Blackhorse Road.
The route is expected to use double-deck buses with the usual Superloop accessibility features and on-board facilities, including USB charging points and passenger information.
The SL14 forms part of the next expansion of the Superloop network, alongside the SL13 between Ealing Broadway and Hendon and the SL15 between Clapham Junction and Eltham.
TfL expects the SL14 to enter service during 2027, although an exact launch date has not yet been announced. Further customer information will be published closer to the start of the service.
