Walthamstow Bus Station was closed following an emergency services incident, with 18 bus routes affected
A pedestrian has been hit by a bus at Walthamstow Bus Station in east London, London Bus Forums News understands.
The circumstances of the collision and the condition of the pedestrian are not yet known.
TfL’s Surface Control Centre issued an alert at 10.10am, saying the bus station had been closed because of an “emergency services incident”.
A total of 18 routes were listed as affected, with buses curtailed or diverted away from the station.
London Bus Forums News is seeking further information from the Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance Service, TfL and the operator involved.

Patient taken to major trauma centre
London Ambulance Service has confirmed a patient was taken to a major trauma centre following the incident at Walthamstow Bus Station.
A spokesperson said crews were called at 10.06am to reports of a road traffic collision at the bus station on Selborne Road.
An ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an advanced paramedic were sent to the scene.
The spokesperson said: “We treated a patient at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”

Bus station closed after emergency services incident
TfL’s Surface Control Centre issued an alert to bus operators at 10.10am saying Walthamstow Bus Station had been closed due to an “emergency services incident”.
The routes listed as affected were the 20, 34, 55, 69, 212, 215, 230, 257, 275, N26, N38, N73, SL1, SL2, W11, W12, W15 and W19.
Several services were curtailed or diverted away from the station.
