Transport for London is marking its 25th anniversary with a fresh look across its network. Wrapped vehicles and updated station signs are appearing on buses, trains, river services and even the cable car. It is part of a one off design campaign to celebrate the milestone.
Each wrap features a reimagined version of the classic roundel, styled to match the service it represents. The aim is to highlight the unity across the different modes that TfL manages, from buses to the Elizabeth line.
Several double decker buses have already been seen in the new livery. The designs use bright colours and abstract roundel patterns over the usual red. These buses are not assigned to specific routes, so spotting one comes down to timing and luck. Forum members are encouraged to share photos and sightings as more appear.
Similar designs are showing up across the network. A few Underground and Overground trains are now carrying the new look, along with one Thames Clippers boat and one of the IFS Cloud Cable Cars. Some stations also have updated posters and signage to match the campaign.

The visual identity was created by TfL’s internal design team. It reflects the progress made since 2000, when TfL was formed to bring together separate transport services under one organisation. The roundel has become a common symbol across the network, used on everything from bus stops to piers.
The special wraps are expected to stay in service through August and possibly into early autumn. There are no changes to fares, timetables or routes. The campaign is purely visual.

If you spot one of the anniversary buses or trains, post the details on the forums including the route, fleet number and location.
