A Metroline double-decker mounted the pavement near the junction of West End Lane and Abbey Road on Saturday evening.

A route 189 bus was involved in a collision in north-west London on Saturday evening.

Photographs seen by London Bus Forums News show the Metroline double-decker beside a brick wall near West End Lane and Abbey Road, with debris scattered across the pavement.

Damage is visible around the nearside front wheel arch.

TfL’s Surface Control Centre reported at 8.51pm that the road was blocked westbound at the junction of West End Lane, with access in and out of the road also blocked.

ADVERTISEMENT

Routes 139, 189 and 328 were placed on diversion while the area was affected.

The circumstances of the collision are not yet known, and it is unclear whether anyone was injured.
